The industrial Representatives Association held its annual business meeting at Bulle Rock on January 10, 2023.
Highlights of the meeting included a presentation requesting community support for the Army Alliance from Tony Lisuzzo. Gary Webb provided a state of the organization message covering the ABCs of 2022. These included a request to be more diligent on attendance. He also stated his pride in being a member of an organization that supports its members in establishing relationships and strong teams for supporting our primary customer base at APG. Gary concluded with thanks for those that supported the EXCOM through the year and then handed over the Presidents responsibilities to Dan Williams. Dan pledged continued growth in numbers and teaming success. He concluded by welcoming Angie Sheldon as Vice President, Payne Ford as Secretary and Chris Carr as Treasurer.
There are various ways to participate in the IRA.
a) You can attend the monthly luncheons, attendance boosts visibility, The sharing of ideas increase industry positioning
b) You can participate on a committee. Increased participation improves our product.
c) You can help staff the IRA table at the lunches. Being visible to attendees increases teaming options.
d) Solicit speakers. A wider diversity of speakers increase our information for effective bidding. Your participation increases your credibility with the customers.
