Join AFCEA Aberdeen as we honor our local High School/Community College scholarship winners, as well as our Science Teacher Toolkit and S.T.E.M. (Scholarship, Tools, Equipment, and Mentors) awardees.
This event is set for Wednesday, June 5, 2024, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm, at River Watch Water's Edge, the NEW Water's Edge Events Center space at the Belcamp campus.
Keynote Speaker: Mr. Bharat Patel, Product Lead for Project Linchpin, Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare & Sensors (PEO IEW&S)
As the Product Lead for Project Linchpin, Bharat is responsible for developing and delivering innovative sensor AI solutions for the Army's intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance needs. He holds over 15 years of experience in program management, systems engineering, and science and technology support, and has served as the Chief Technology Advisor for PM DCGS-A and a Project Lead at MITRE. Bharat holds a graduate certificate in Systems Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and undergraduate in computer science from Rutgers University. Matthew is a former recipient of an AFCEA Aberdeen STEM Scholarship award. He currently works as a Computer Scientist for Army Futures Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground and is an Adjunct Faculty Member at University of Maryland and Towson University.
